Career and Technical Education
Career and Technical Education (CTE) prepares students to enter the workforce immediately after graduation or to pursue further education at a community college or university. We combine classroom instruction with work-based learning experiences and personal leadership development to help ensure a dynamic workforce for the future.
Our five on campus programs prepare students with skills (both academically and occupational) and knowledge essential for workforce success and informed economic decision making in today's society. All freshman students begin by participating in a career focus class that allows them to spend an entire year rotating between each CTE program at St. Johns High School. These rotations help students better select a CTE program that aligns with their interests.
